Dear Ward 8 Constituents,

I'm up for re-election in 2018.  The past eight years have been exciting, informative and rewarding.  We've accomplished much, but there's much more to accomplish.

I have enjoyed meeting hundreds of constituents who have contacted me with your concerns.  I have helped almost all of you in some way to resolve your concerns.  It's been a pleasure serving you and I wish to continue and provide you with my vast knowledge of municipal politics, knowing the intricacies of municipal governement and how to cut through the red tape with my 45 years of experience.

I'm currently your elected representative.  I work for you.

Remember to Vote on Monday, October 22nd, 2018 - it's your democratic right.

Zyg Janecki

Councillor Ward 8

In January of 2014 the KW Record provide a Council Report Card.  Here are a few excerpts;

"As someone who has followed politics at Kitchener City Hall for many years, I would like to critique the new, enlarged council's performance for the past three years....

Councillors John Gazzola, Yvonne Fernandes and Zyg Janecki have done an outstanding job as guardians of the taxpayer's purse and always seem prepared to discuss the agenda in a frank and common-sense manner.  We need more of them..." Ed Redgwell, KW Record, January 22, 2014.

The Record - February 10, 2014

"This letter by Ed Redgwell, which assessed the performances of members of Kitchener council, was excellent.  I agree 100 percent, as I follow politics at Kitchener City Hall. Thank you to him for the truty.

Thank you to councillors John Gazzola, Zyg Janecki and Yvonne Fernades for being guardians of the taxpayers." Frances Brecko
